UAE 47th National Day
The UAE government has announced that both the public and private sectors will enjoy a long weekend in celebration of the country’s 47th National Day.
This announcement was made by the UAE cabinet and also posted on the official Twitter account.
Employees will be given Sunday December 2 and Monday December 3 off, making it a four-day weekend for those with a typical Sunday to Thursday work week.
The holiday celebrates the unification of the seven emirates in 1971.
